We are an international collaboration of scientists and people from the agricultural community. We’re working together towards improve outcomes for people in countries affected by cassava viruses. Currently the most affected areas are in East Africa, so participants in the initial phase of this project are from key scientific institutions in Tanzania and Uganda. You can meet the team on this page, or get in touch if you would like to participate.
The project design and subsequent development is driven by the teams in Tanzania and Uganda. This will make the project sustainable.
We will be doing our pilot project in August/September 2017. We’ll then use what we have learned to design a next phase. We want to make the maximum impact in Tanzania and Uganda and also to prepare to support transfer of new knowledge and successful processes to other countries.
We will also be applying for funding for these projects – if you think you can support us please let us know!
